This page explains how Mumtalakat protects your data — from the documents you upload to the privacy of the AI assistant.

Data-protection principles (PDPL)

Mumtalakat handles personal data in line with Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL): data is collected for a clear purpose, kept only as needed, and not shared beyond what a deal requires.

How your documents are stored

Your identity and commercial-registration documents, and the documents exchanged during a deal, are stored securely and shared only with the party a specific step requires — a buyer sees gated documents only after signing the NDA.

AI-assistant privacy

Sensitive data — such as national ID, commercial-registration numbers, IBANs, phone numbers, and emails — is redacted before anything is sent to the AI model. The assistant helps you without ever exposing your private identifiers.

Control over your data

  • Account deletion is recoverable within 30 days before it becomes permanent.
  • You can request an export of your data.
