Two personas: seller and buyer
Mumtalakat has two roles, and you can hold both on one account.- Project owner (seller) — you list and manage a business for sale.
- Buyer — you browse projects, express interest, and make offers.
The dashboard
After signing in you land on the dashboard for your active role.- As a seller, the dashboard summarizes your listing status, incoming interest requests, and open deals.
- As a buyer, it shows the projects you follow, your interest requests, and any active deals.
Where everything lives
- Navigation — the sidebar (desktop) or the bottom bar (mobile) moves you between the main areas.
- Notifications — the bell surfaces new interest requests, messages, and deal updates. You control which notifications reach you.
- Messages — all buyer–seller communication happens on-platform, inside the deal conversation. Off-platform contact is not allowed. See Commission protection.
The project-management page (sellers)
As a seller, your listing is controlled from the Manage page, which is organized into five tabs:1
Overview & Project info
Your project’s core data — sector, figures, and description.
2
Project identity
Name, logo, and images.
3
Customize
Fine control over visibility, sensitive data, communication, listing improvement, and management — grouped into sections. See Customize & privacy.
4
Danger zone
Sensitive, irreversible-feeling actions kept apart on purpose.
The Manage page has a “Guided tour” button, and each Customize group has its own “Tour” button that walks you through that group’s individual settings. Use them anytime — they never change anything.
