# Project Types at Registration on Mumtalakat

> The five ways to list your business on Mumtalakat — idea, partial sale at growth, full sale/exit, merger, or digital asset — when to choose each, and what each one asks for.

The first question you'll answer when registering your project on Mumtalakat is: **what kind of listing is this?** Your choice shapes the registration form, the information you'll be asked for, and how your listing appears to buyers. This page explains the five types so you can pick the right one with confidence.

<Tip>
  Every type goes through the same path: project details → documents → brokerage agreement → review by the Mumtalakat team → publish. Only the type-specific questions and documents differ.

## When to choose each type

| Type | Choose it if | What you'll mainly be asked for |
| ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Idea** | The project isn't operating yet, or is at its very start | Idea stage and readiness level |
| **Partial sale — growth** | The business is running and you want a partner or expansion without exiting | Financial and operating data, and the stake on offer |
| **Full sale / exit** | You want to sell the business entirely or exit | Financial and operating data, and the sale details |
| **Merger** | You're after a merger or a strategic partner, not a full sale | Project details and what you're looking for in the other party |
| **Digital asset** | You're selling a brand, store, app, website, or domain | Proof of ownership of the asset instead of full financial statements |

## Documents depend on your activity

Alongside the type, the registration document depends on how your activity is licensed:

* **Commercial registration** — for establishments registered with the Ministry of Commerce.
* **Freelance permit** — for activities licensed under a freelance permit.
* **Digital asset** — asks for proof of ownership of the asset itself (domain, store, accounts) instead of company documents.

<Note>
  Not sure which type fits? Pick the closest and complete registration — the Mumtalakat review team looks at every submission before publishing and will reach out if another type suits your listing better.
