# The Contract Template Builder on Mumtalakat

> Design your contract once — upload your sale contract PDF, place fields on it, and every new deal auto-fills onto your active template and opens for verified signing.

The **contract template builder** removes the most repetitive step in your deals: instead of preparing a fresh contract for every buyer, you design your template once — and every new deal auto-fills onto your active template.

## How it works

    Use the contract wording you or your legal advisor rely on.

    Mark where the variable data goes — party names, amount, dates, and signatures — and preview the result before adopting it.

  <Step title="Set it as the active template">
    The active template is what new deal contracts under your project are built on. You can duplicate, rename, and switch templates anytime.

  <Step title="Open for signing">
    When a deal contract is created from the template, the deal's data fills in automatically and each party signs through verified (OTP) signing.
