Quick definitions for the terms you'll meet across Mumtalakat. Each links to its detailed page. * **NDA (non-disclosure agreement)** — a binding agreement to keep the seller's confidential data private; required by some listings before full details are shown. See [NDA & disclosure](/en/buyers/nda-and-disclosure). * **Gradual disclosure** — revealing a listing in layers (public → registered → post-NDA). See [Privacy & anonymity](/en/concepts/privacy-and-anonymity). * **Anonymous listing** — hides the owner's identity only (name, description, logo), not the price or figures. * **Boost** — pushes a listing to the top of the feed with a “Featured” badge for 7 days; Featured plan and above. * **Listing strength** — a meter of how complete a listing is; higher completeness ranks better and attracts more serious buyers. * **Interest request** — a buyer's signal of interest in a project, which may include qualifying answers. * **Qualifying questions** — short questions a buyer answers to screen for a serious, well-matched fit before a conversation opens. * **Contract phases** — the five ordered steps of a deal contract, from signing to handover. See [Commission protection](/en/concepts/commission-protection). * **Circumvention** — taking an introduced deal off-platform to avoid the commission; prohibited. * **Verification (KYC)** — confirming a user's identity (and a seller's commercial registration) before full platform access. * **Serious-buyer badge** — a badge a buyer earns after verification, signaling credibility to sellers. * **Brokerage agreement** — the agreement a seller signs authorizing Mumtalakat to broker their listing. * **“After signing the NDA”** — a set price that is hidden until the buyer signs. * **“By agreement”** — no price was set; it will be built through negotiation. * **Project types** — the five listing types chosen at signup: idea, growth stake, full exit, merger, and digital asset.
